'Disruptive' passengers escorted from Ryanair flight - after credit card failed for chips and soda purchase
Briefly

A British couple, Ann-Marie Murray and her partner, were removed from a Ryanair flight after failing to pay for a $9 snack due to card issues. Despite offering to pay after landing, their boarding passes were confiscated, and police awaited them upon arrival. Support from fellow passengers who witnessed the incident did not sway the crew's decision. The situation escalated, culminating in their embarrassment and further misfortune when they found their parked car damaged upon returning.
It was really embarrassing - they stopped everyone from getting off and had us escorted out... I think they thought we had another card or cash, but I emptied my bag and showed them I had nothing else.
Other passengers stuck up for us, saying it was their machines not working, but the crew doubled down, saying we were rude and refusing.
Murray recounted offering to withdraw cash at their destination - but the crew instead took their boarding passes and contacted authorities.
To add insult to injury, the couple returned to Bristol Airport's Silver Zone Parking to find their car's front bumper 'smashed.'
