M25 reopens after boat falls from trailer and causes two-hour delays

The M25 has reopened following a significant disruption caused by a boat falling from a trailer, which overturned around 4:30 PM on February 19 between junctions 10 (Wisley) and 9 (Leatherhead). The incident led to the closure of three out of four lanes and resulted in two-hour delays, extending traffic issues all the way back to junction 12 (M3). A specialist recovery operation was conducted, and although the road reopened shortly after 6:30 PM, residual delays continued throughout the evening as traffic began to clear.
