A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at a skate park in Ringway, Briar Hill, Northampton, after a stabbing during an altercation on Wednesday. A teenage boy suffered life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition in hospital. A murder investigation has been launched and a police cordon remains in place at the park. Four people — two teenage boys, a man and a woman, all from Northampton — have been arrested and are in police custody. High-visibility patrols and house-to-house inquiries have been deployed, and witnesses are being asked to come forward. Several roads are affected and people are urged to avoid the area.
