A 22-year-old man, Micah Whitely, died in hospital after a stabbing on High Road, Wembley just before 1pm. Paramedics attempted resuscitation outside a Post Office while shocked shoppers fled. A suspect, 22-year-old Kevon Jenkins of Wharton Close, Brent, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a pointed and bladed article; he will appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court. A 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and later bailed. Forensic teams searched the scene and detectives reviewed CCTV. The victim's family are being supported by specialist officers and police urged witnesses to come forward.
