Police launch investigation into fire at Keir Starmer's house'

An investigation has been initiated following a fire at a residence attributed to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in north west London. The fire occurred around 1:15 am on May 12, with emergency services swiftly responding. While Starmer currently resides at 10 Downing Street, the house seems to hold significance. The police confirmed no injuries resulted from the incident, which caused damage to the entrance, prompting cordons to remain in place as inquiries proceed. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude towards the emergency services but refrained from making further comments due to the ongoing investigation.

On Monday, 12 May at 01:35hrs, police were alerted by the London Fire Brigade to reports of a fire at a residential address. Damage was caused to the property's entrance.
The Brigade was called at 0111 and the fire was under control by 0133. Two fire engines from Kentish Town Fire Station attended the scene.
A cordon is reported to have remained in place until the afternoon as the investigation continues.
