"After the conclusion of the nine-day, annual event in Nevada's Black Rock Desert, a woman reported on Monday that she was sexually assaulted by a man while at the festival, the Pershing County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. The woman was interviewed by investigators and provided a "very distinct description" of the man who allegedly assaulted her, which officials said can be challenging in a setting such as a festival."
"Authorities searched the festival grounds and eventually interviewed and arrested Alessandro Boshant, a 34-year-old Southern California man. Boshant is facing four sexual assault charges and one burglary charge, the sheriff's office said. Boshant is being held on a $640,000 bail. Tuesday's arrest comes as other reports and arrests are continuing to unfold from Burning Man. On Monday, officials arrested a convicted felon for allegedly possessing a large amount of illicit drugs. Officials also said he allegedly had two firearms, which he is prohibited from having because of his status as a felon."
