"During Brozowski's flight from the scene, the stabbing victim was transported to an area hospital where he underwent an extensive emergency surgery to repair his trachea and esophagus, both of which were severed in the attack, the DA said. On Monday Brozowski was arraigned before Supreme Court Justice Timothy Mazzei on the second-degree attempted murder charge, a Class B violent felony, as well as first-degree assault, a Class B violent felony; and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, Class D felonies,"
A Yonkers man stabbed a Babylon man in the neck during a verbal dispute at a mutual acquaintance's house on August 29. The victim, reportedly met earlier that day, was rushed to a hospital and underwent extensive emergency surgery to repair a severed trachea and esophagus. The suspect fled in a red 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, briefly evaded a traffic stop, then complied and was taken into custody. The suspect was indicted on second-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and was ordered held on high bail while facing up to 25 years.
