
Isai “N,” described as the nephew of Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin “El Chapo,” was arrested in the border city of Nogales. The arrest involved a person wanted in the United States. Separately, authorities executed a search warrant in Tapachula, Chiapas, and seized more than 1,500 pounds of cocaine and 150 firearms. Additional seizures included 363 magazines and 18 grenades. Omar Harfuch, head of Security and Citizen Protection, characterized the operations as significant actions against criminal organizations.
