Detective Alicia Stone, 40, a 13-year NYPD veteran assigned to Internal Affairs, died at Fundacion Valle del Lili hospital in Cali after being found unresponsive in her hotel room. The death occurred roughly a week after she underwent liposuction and a butt lift. She reportedly went into cardiac arrest after being transported to the hospital. Stone had been receiving anticoagulant medication and oral pain medicine while recovering in a hotel. Her husband and relatives reported she was fine prior to the procedure and are demanding facts and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
