San Jose police arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with 24 burglaries occurring between August 2024 and February. The investigation began with burglaries at five businesses and a place of worship in the McKee Road, Alum Rock Avenue, and East Julian Street areas. Detectives linked the suspect to all 24 incidents, during which he stole cash and other items while causing more than $1,000 in damage to each establishment. Officers apprehended him on February 12 in East San Jose. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary and other crimes, then booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
