Authorities have identified the shooter in a tragic incident involving the ambush of first responders during a brush fire. The suspect, 20-year-old Wess Roley, started the fire intentionally and awaited the arrival of firefighters, shooting three, killing two. Roley was later found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Law enforcement confirmed that Roley acted alone and had lived out of his vehicle found at the scene. They have not disclosed a motive for the incident, although Roley had previous minor encounters with police. Investigators are analyzing details surrounding his actions.
