Outdated and unjust': can we reform global capitalism?
Briefly

Since Donald Trump's inception of a trade war, a profound crisis has engulfed the global economy, alarming policymakers worldwide. Recent discussions highlighted the fundamental changes in the world order, compelling nations to redefine their positions. However, capitalism has historically faced crises, and Trump's administration inherited a system grappling with legitimacy issues. Previous events like the global financial crisis and inequalities exposed by economists like Thomas Piketty have compounded distrust in capitalist ideals, demonstrating that faith in moral capitalism has eroded significantly.
Every country has to figure out its own place in this new world order and how to protect its own interests.
In taking its measure, it's necessary to look beyond the daily headlines and acknowledge that being in a state of crisis is nothing new to capitalism.
Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please.
