Companies often face challenges in defining and aligning the level of UX effort required for various projects. This misalignment frequently stems from designers' varied expectations of the UX process and a lack of standard capacity planning for UX work. Without a unified framework, designers, product managers, and engineers struggle to understand and communicate the necessary effort for research and design activities. The proposed framework aims to address these challenges by enabling better capacity planning and fostering collaboration among UX, Product, and Engineering teams.
