Designers must move beyond just validating stakeholder biases and start placing emphasis on crafting persuasive arguments that drive action and facilitate change.
The argument is crucial to the value of UX; if the research doesn't lead to a different decision, then it is essentially wasted effort.
Overall, if our insights don’t convince stakeholders to alter their decisions, they hold no value and fail to lead to actionable outcomes.
