Susan Nwankpa Gillespie, an emerging architect, faced the challenge of designing her family's home on a limited budget. She sees design as a transformative tool for beauty and connection. Raised in a multicultural household, she draws inspiration from her diverse background to create unique designs. After marrying Brian Gillespie in 2017, the couple realized they needed more space as they planned to start a family. For her, designing her own house was not just about aesthetics but also personal expression.
Design can be transformative, whether it's for a company, a project with a spiritual idea or just making a home more beautiful and connected.
I try to create beautiful things out of concepts and ideas that may not be standard, influenced by my multicultural upbringing.
