Interview Loken is a novel tool that enables website designers to engage in an intuitive design process, similar to how musicians create sound using software synthesizers. Inspired by modular synthesis and techniques used in music production, Loken employs a method called "design synthesis". This involves manipulating design tokens to transform raw design data through various modules, thereby generating palettes, gradients, and styles. The goal is to provide a creative and improvisational interface that facilitates fluid design exploration without relying on traditional methods.
Loken is directly inspired by modular synthesis and guitar pedals, enabling designers to intuitively manipulate design data as musicians do with sound.
