Final Fantasy Commander Cards Are Coming To Magic: The Gathering Arena

Square Enix's iconic Final Fantasy video game characters are being reimagined as collectible cards in the Magic: The Gathering universe. A livestream announced that eight Commander cards, including notable figures like Cloud and Tidus, will be available in MTG Arena, which is unusual for Commander sets. The decks, scheduled for a June 13 release, will creatively narrate stories from Final Fantasy titles VI, VII, X, and XIV while introducing new mechanics to the game. Although not all cards are confirmed for digital format, preorders are currently available.
