League Of Legends Spin-Off 2XKO Won't Get A Big Playtest In March After All
Briefly

Riot's League of Legends fighting game, 2XKO, will experience a scaled-back playtest in March, as announced by game director Shaun Rivera. The team aims to develop the necessary infrastructure for a more extensive playtest later this year. Rivera addressed leaks circulating in the community and confirmed that while the anticipated alpha test won't happen, new features will be introduced, including the removal of the Pulse Fuse in favor of toggleable autocombos. The new Sidekick Fuse will enable a support role while limiting tag functionality, meeting requests from players seeking a more supportive gaming experience.
We received a ton of feedback from players who wanted an experience that felt like more of a support role where they could learn the game at their own pace.
Rivera stated that the decision to toggle the autocombos allows players to utilize the game's powerful Fuses while accommodating individual preferences in co-op play.
