Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition is good for D&D 3.5e nostalgia, but does little to fix the base game
Briefly

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition is set to improve the original game's graphics, audio, and gameplay features, addressing previous issues like camera controls and user interface. The original game was met with anticipation but fell short due to an early release mandated by the publisher, resulting in technical flaws. The expansions that followed improved the experience, showcasing the developer's potential for storytelling and gameplay innovation. The nostalgic connection to the original game evokes a sense of hope for the enhanced version.
I welcomed the announcement of Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition like a text from an old partner who broke my heart: I haven't forgotten, but I'm ready to forgive.
Neverwinter Nights 2 promised to be 'bigger and better,' with enhanced graphics and even more up-to-date D&D rules (3.5e.).
What I found, however, were an awful game camera and a clunky user interface, undermining a main campaign that... failed to impress me.
The two expansions that came out... smoothed over some of the technical issues of the game and also proved that, if given enough time, Obsidian could deliver good stories.
