A total of 36 books were pulled by Nassau County schools. Many had LGBTQ+ topics, including Beyond Magenta: Transgender Teenagers Speak Out by Susan Kuklin, Almost Perfect by Brian Katcher, and Drama by Raina Telgemeier.
