Mandy Moore trashes Amazon for leaving delivery at her in-laws' home destroyed in deadly LA fires: 'Do better'
Briefly

Mandy Moore publicly criticized Amazon after a delivery driver left a package at her in-laws' home, which was destroyed by fires. Moore shared her frustration on Instagram, questioning the company's discretion. She also detailed the terror her family faced during the Eaton Fire, emphasizing that they did not receive an evacuation notice. Her brother-in-law prompted their quick escape, leading them to pack their children and pets in haste as the situation became precarious, highlighting the dangers posed by the wildfires in their area.
Can we not have better discretion than to leave a package at a residence that no longer exists? This is my mother and father-in-law's home. SMH.
We never got an evacuation notice. Sometimes in the quieter moments of processing the last month, I play the game of what would have happened if I didn't have my phone.
6:45 p.m. and he told me he, his wife, and our niece were evacuating, grabbing my in-laws and getting the heck out of Dodge and we should do the same.
We promptly packed up the kids (in their pjs), our dog, and scrambled to find our 3 cats as the power went out.
