10 Minute Morning Yoga Sequence
Briefly

Morning yoga flows can be simple yet effective, focusing primarily on sun salutations. YogaRenew emphasizes the importance of greeting the sun (Surya Namaskar A) during morning practices. The article provides a concise 10-minute yoga sequence that can be done at home with minimal props required, such as yoga blocks and a blanket. It outlines a sequence starting with seated positions, moving through various poses like child's pose, cat/cow, downward dog, and establishing a standing balance through warrior poses, designed to enhance flexibility and energy for the day ahead.
10 minute morning yoga flows don't have to be elaborate. You can get a sufficient practice in by just moving through sun salutations.
Most of our classes are taught with Surya Namaskar A, which literally means 'greet the sun' as you first rise in the morning.
Here's a quick and easy 10 minute morning yoga sequence that includes a downloadable PDF graphic that you can store for whenever you'd like to practice.
Be sure to grab your mat and any props you may need - we recommend 2 yoga blocks and a blanket!
