Briefly

The conversion adapts an old pigsty in the historic center of Sasamon (Burgos) into a contemporary single-family dwelling of 102 m². The design preserves the building's rural identity and reinforces its presence within the surrounding heritage fabric while introducing modern domestic functions and spatial comfort. The project employs products from Alvic, Creative Cables, Simon, Sklum, and Zara Home, integrates bespoke carpentry by Javier Ramos Rodríguez and a kitchen by Cocibur, and was executed by Construcciones Escribano. The result is a warm, functional home adapted to a new way of living that respects local context and materiality.
