Entering the regular season, Bub Carrington seem poised to have the opportunity to prove that he could not only be a building block for the Washington Wizards, but he could be the team's long-term solution at point guard. Between an inconsistent start to the season and his eventual benching in favor of returning two-way prospect Bilal Coulibaly, it became obvious early on that Washington may have their doubt about Carrington's development.
Carrington's struggles have raised the eye brows of several basketball minds across the league and the main reason for that is due to the bizarre shooting slump the guard's currently in. The playmaker's success as a rookie came fro his efficiency in the mid-range game, In turn, the biggest weakness Carrington flashes was his underwhelming shooting from beyond the arc.

So far this season, he's shooting much better, but he can't make a shot inside the paint. It's been a very odd trend to follow, as his offensive areas of preference have seemingly flipped, at least in terms of efficiency.
