St. Paul's ICE Field Office lists a David Easterwood as its acting director, and while the agency has not confirmed whether or not they are the same person, a photo from the Cities Church website and an ICE press conference from last October suggests that may be the case. Lemon defended the protest as being what the First Amendment is about, the freedom to protest. When a church member asked Lemon if he was part of the protest, he replied that he was not, saying he was just here photographing, I'm a journalist.
Sonoma County prosecutors on Thursday highlighted animal activist Zoe Rosenberg 's history of protests and controversial tactics to counter her assertion that she played only a minor role in a series of Petaluma Poultry incursions that ended with her taking four chickens June 13, 2023. Prosecutors began questioning her Friday and continued into Monday before proceedings ended early Tuesday when Rosenberg became ill.
Garda Damien Prendergast, from Dunlavin Garda Station, told the court that in March 2023, while driving through Dunlavin, he saw several sheep wandering on the road. He returned the animals to Mr Mooney's land, where he observed dead livestock, animal carcasses and a strong smell of decay. He said he returned later the same day with other gardaí to inspect the scene. On their return, they took photographs which were shown in court. These depicted several dead and decomposing cows, lambs and sheep.
