ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos will honor their last Super Bowl-winning team on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Super Bowl 50 victory that earned the franchise its third Vince Lombardi Trophy. They will also honor one of the Broncos' best and most beloved players in late wide receiver Demaryius Thomas, who will be formally added to the team's ring of fame.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- The Denver Broncos' quest for tight end Evan Engram to be an impactful part of their offense has been hampered by bad injury luck. Engram, who the Broncos signed to a two-year, $23 million deal in March, was ruled out with a back injury for Sunday's game at the Los Angeles Chargers. This after he injured his calf during the second half of Denver's Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The debut for No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward had its share of rough moments as the Tennessee Titans lost 20-12 to the Denver Broncos. Ward's frustration came to the surface when he spoke about only scoring six points off four turnovers caused by the Titans' defense. "We were a-- honestly," Ward said after the game. "When you get a defense that gets three or four turnovers and don't capitalize on it, that's on us."

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton said Thursday the team got "good news" on wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr.'s groin injury and the third-year veteran should be on track to play in the Sept. 7 season opener against the Tennessee Titans. Mims left Wednesday's practice with the injury, as he walked off the field with the Broncos' medical staff about halfway through the team's on-field work. Mims was taken for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) exam as well as some additional tests.

Lionel Taylor, an original Denver Bronco and a Ring of Fame member, died at age 89 on August 6, leaving a significant legacy in professional football.

Sanders finished a play hopping on one leg, as he attempted to keep his weight off his right leg. The Broncos' medical staff examined Sanders' right ankle and then right foot on the sideline.

In what eventually became a 30-24 overtime loss to the Bengals, Mims finished with eight receptions on eight targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns were in the fourth quarter -- the first a 51-yard catch-and-run for the team's longest play of the game and the other a leaping are-you-kidding-me effort with eight seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
