Barnet Council's BOOST service has supported over 6,200 residents since its launch in 2015, helping more than 3,300 find employment and addressing digital exclusion.

The study revealed that access to reliable, high-speed internet has become a daily necessity, and people are willing to prioritise broadband over other household needs.

The £157m investment in broadbans aims to ensure gigabit connectivity reaches 65,000 homes and businesses in Scotland, especially targeting isolated areas.

Mississippi has made notable strides in broadband expansion, with a recent approval for 12 new infrastructure projects funded by the U.S. Treasury, reaching 9,000 households.
