'You can only imagine the knock on the door for those families' - five young friends die in nation's worst road tragedy for 15 years

Five friends aged 21–23 died and three were injured in a head-on collision between a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Land Cruiser near Dundalk, Louth.

A man in his 30s was found dead outside a residential property in Dúiche Roden, Dundalk; Gardaí are investigating and the scene remains sealed.
