After Abby Stuckrath learned that the Washington Blade is the oldest LGBTQ newspaper in the country, she began digging into its archives for glimpses of gay life in decades past. Construction on the American LGBTQ+ Museum (ALM) is nearing completion, according to ALM director of Major Gifts Shaun Newport and New York Historical project manager Roy Moskowitz, who brought Gay City News on a tour of the site on Dec. 2. Latin Grammy-nominated rapper Snow Tha Product a San Jose native will headline the festival Saturday at Plaza de Cesar Chavez, which runs from 6 to 11 p.m. and continues Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
