Spotify's "Smart Reorder" option, announced on Wednesday, is available now in the Spotify app for Premium subscribers. To try it out, open a playlist and tap the "Mix" button then "Edit." The "Smart Reorder" button should be at the bottom of the editing screen.
And, make no mistake, they will be five songs you're really into right now, because that's how many of these services work-and it's not because everyone else has the same taste in music as you. For instance, any Spotify playlist that says "created for" in the header is catered to the individual user, based on their listening history. There's nothing wrong with that, necessarily-it can be nice to know you're going to hear songs you like. But there are downsides.
The music hosting platform announced on their official subreddit that AI-generated music would be banned in 2026. Speaking of their 2025 wrapped content, Bandcamp shouted out "the sheer quantity of human creativity and passion that artists express on Bandcamp every single day. The fact that Bandcamp is home to such a vibrant community of real people making incredible music is something we want to protect and maintain."
Amazon Music has a new Spotify Wrapped knockoff this year called " 2025 Delivered," which offers a summary of users' listening stats, such as top artists, songs, and even podcasts. Notably, the platform also takes advantage of Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, by giving users a special message from their favorite artist. The feature can be found on the app by tapping on the Library tab.

The streamer's song credits are undergoing an expansion of detail which includes performers, songwriters, producers, engineers, studio musicians, creative influences, and collaborators. These enhancements represent "new ways for fans to see and celebrate the people and musical connections behind the tracks they love." Before this, song credits included what Spotify calls "topline performance, songwriting, and production credits." The new level of detail isn't yet apparent, but will be rolled out "over the coming months," Spotify says.
