Panera's bagel selection includes nine varieties, with the multigrain bagel ranked last due to its dryness and lack of flavor.
Attention, all bagel sandwich lovers: Your favorite fast-casual breakfast chain is celebrating National Bagel Day by giving bagel fans some new noms to start their day with. On Tuesday, January 13, Panera is bringing back a couple of fan-favorite breakfast stacks (the Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack and the Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack) as well as debuting three all-new Asiago Bagel Stacks that promise to have bagel-ites swooning.
The tip comes from a TikTok by @mukjamy. To assemble, smear plain cream cheese onto an Asiago bagel, order a small mac and cheese, spoon the mac on top, and enjoy. This sando can be enjoyed open-faced or closed-style. "Trust me on this," says the poster, "I know my way around food." Indeed, as a former Panera employee many moons ago, this creation sounds like something staff would have dreamt up during a slow closing shift.
Panera's black bean soup is made with a medley of vegetables, including onions, carrots, celery, red bell peppers, lima beans, and potatoes. Black beans obviously make up the bulk of the soup, while lemon juice and garlic enhance the flavors. The soup has a spicy kick, although the exact ingredients that give it this flavor pop are not publicly disclosed. The Panera at Home version simply lists "spices" on the label.
