One of the most beautiful women on the planet is covered with blood and dirt as she curls her hand inside the opening of a conch shell. She raises it as a makeshift set of brass knuckles and proceeds to pulverize the face of one of the buccaneers who has attacked her island home. This is Priyanka Chopra Jonas's first major fight scene in The Bluff, which tells you this is far different from the kind of pirate film moviegoers have seen before.
Reacher is one of my favorite series on Amazon Prime Video, and the latest installment doesn't disappoint. After winding up in Maine, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) - the former military officer-turned-drifter - gets entangled in a DEA investigation, leading him to go undercover as the bodyguard for the son of Zachary Beck (Anthony Michael Hall), the owner of a rug import company involved in some shady business dealings.
Prime Video has revealed the first trailer for Madden, the David O. Russell-directed biopic starring Nicolas Cage as legendary NFL coach-turned-NFL broadcaster John Madden and Christian Bale as Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis. Russell also wrote the film, working off an earlier screenplay drafted Cambron Clark. Along with Cage and Bale, the cast includes John Mulaney as Trip Hawkins; Kathryn Hahn as Virginia Madden; Sienna Miller as Carol Davis; Joel Murray as Pat Summerall; and Shane Gillis.
What started as a casting call for a supposed background performance on Outer Banks quietly morphed into something much bigger: a full-fledged band, a Prime Video series, and a growing touring act with sold-out shows ( get tickets here while you can!). Zendé Murdock of The Runarounds recently spoke with Kyle Meredith about the long game behind the project - one that saw five young musicians unknowingly audition for their own TV show, then spend years becoming a real band
The firm said in November it was testing the "first-of-its-kind" tool in the US to help viewers catch up on some of its shows on streaming service Prime Video - including Fallout, its adaptation of the popular video game franchise. But it has since disappeared from the site after users highlighted mistakes in its video summarising the events of Fallout season one - including claiming one scene was set more than 100 years earlier than it was.
On Wednesday, promotion officials announced the full slate of 2026 Prime Video events, which are now known as ONE Fight Nights (or alternately, ONE on Prime Video). A full dozen events will be live on the streaming platform next year; notably all but one of them will take place inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium. The lone exception is a June 26 return to the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Come gather around The Ghoul Log, a festive video that the Fallout TV show has created in the lead-up to Season 2. Starting with The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), this holiday special features Dogmeat and shows a human arm--"specifically, a fat man's"--burning in a fireplace for roughly an hour and a half. On YouTube, Prime Video released the officially titled Fallout: The Ghoul Log, which can be seen below. The Ghoul makes a couple of revelations about the wasteland early on.
The step-up was announced Tuesday at unBoxed, the annual Amazon Ads event, being held this year in Nashville, TN. The 315 million figure represents an unduplicated average monthly active ad-supported audience across original and licensed series and films, live sports and events, and free, ad-supported live channels on Prime Video. The reach estimate is based on Amazon internal data from September 2024 to August 2025, "with some locale-specific time-frame variations based on launch dates," the company explained.
Amazon MGM Studios, the company's TV and movie arm, was hit during the broader company layoffs announced Tuesday. Amazon said it would cut 14,000 jobs overall to slim down as it leans into AI. Among the big names affected at Amazon MGM Studios were Donna Rosenstein, who was head of series casting; and Genna Terranova, head of global programming for MGM Studios and Prime Video. Also cut were drama series exec Meggie Choi and creative exec Nathan Kitada.
Amazon's advertising unit on Wednesday introduced its roster of presenting sponsors for the opening season of Prime Video's NBA coverage, a clutch of top-tier sports spenders that includes the likes of AT&T, Mercedes-Benz and State Farm. As part of a series of signings that will help defray Amazon's annual $1.8 billion rights payment to the NBA, the online retailer/streamer has landed AT&T as the title sponsor of its new halftime show ( The Half).
Amazon's Prime Video is bringing more AI to the football field with new features designed to give viewers more insight into Thursday Night Football games, as highlighted earlier by Deadline. One feature, called Pocket Health, uses AI to analyze "tens of thousands of data points" across the offensive line during a play, allowing Prime Video to display on-screen visuals indicating the threat level to a quarterback.
If you think this is dark, wait till season 2, Kitsch said. It's not like a cliff-hanger, but it's truly an emotional fall It's like Ben's on his own in season 2 and you're going to follow him through some of the worst parts of what humans are capable of doing. You're going to see him emotionally attached to the work even more.
Prime Video has been running ads since the start of 2024, signaling the tech giant's push into the video ad space. Amazon now delivers an upfront presentation to ad buyers alongside those of traditional media companies and tech rivals Netflix and YouTube during a single mid-May spree in New York. While Prime Video is the centerpiece, the company also has emphasized its other venues for brand messages, including podcasts.
