A new theory has emerged from Poland on where Lewandowski could end up, with one journalist claiming he could follow in Luis Suarez's footsteps and swap Barca for Atletico. Reporter Mateusz Święcicki has said: "Milan are a probability, but I have a theory and that is that Lewandowski is going to play a season at Atletico Madrid. He can have success with Sorloth and Atletico have already signed David Villa or Luis Suárez before."
The 37-year-old has returned from international duty with Poland with a muscle tear and will miss the next four weeks, according to multiple reports. Lewandowski will therefore sit out games against Girona and Olympiacos in the coming week as well as El Clasico against Real Madrid on October 26th. The veteran is also expected to be sidelines for the matches against Elche, Club Brugge and Celta Vigo.
