A 16-year-old has been charged and a 14-year-old arrested after knives were found in a search in Ilford. Local police officers carried out a stop-and-search on two boys while on patrol in Prior Road around 4pm yesterday (July 6). Two knives were allegedly found and seized by police.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested after emailing threats to nine schools in Sheffield, but police found no evidence to suggest the threats were credible.
