AI chatbots are taking over customer service, but most of us would rather wait for a human

A new survey reveals that an overwhelming 81% of respondents would wait at least 'some amount of time' to speak with a live agent over chatting with an AI assistant instantly.

22% of respondents identified the sweet spot for wait times to be around four or five minutes, whereas 14% preferred to start chatting with AI rather than waiting for a human agent.
