Labour MP Mark Sewards has created an AI version of himself to engage constituents, aiming to enhance communication and service availability. However, concerns arise about potential disconnect.

The standard definitions of psychotherapy are outdated as they do not represent the new reality, particularly with the advancements in AI chatbots.

According to The Guardian, a new study claims that AI Overviews cause 79% fewer clickthroughs to top results in Google Search. The data comes from analytics company Authoritas.

Two recent product releases point to this trend: OpenAI's ChatGPT Agent and Perplexity's Comet browser. The ChatGPT Agent uses a basic browser to surf the web on behalf of users, while Comet takes it further by allowing language models to access logged-in sites and complete tasks for users. Both products have not yet achieved reliable performance and currently require expensive subscription access due to their high computing needs.

Of the 1,000 children aged nine to 17 that Internet Matters surveyed for its 'Me, Myself, and AI' report, some 67 percent said they use AI chatbots regularly.

"It's ridiculous to think that, in today's America, we can rely on these apps without safeguards," Hodges declares.
