As demand for AI literacy increases, California State University (CSU) collaborates with tech giants to develop a workforce equipped for an AI-driven future. The program will provide access to AI-powered resources, including ChatGPT Edu, across all campuses for over 460,000 students and 63,000 faculty. This large-scale implementation is pioneering in the U.S. education system, following similar efforts by other universities like Arizona State University and Miami Dade College.
"It's a celebration of innovation, scholarship and a collective commitment to the pursuit of progress-progress and opportunity for all," CSU chancellor Mildred García said.
CSU will give its 460,000 students and 63,000 faculty access to AI-powered tools, including ChatGPT Edu, marking a historic implementation of AI in education.
