The NYPD reported that two armed robbers have been terrorizing men in the Bronx, executing four stickups between July 15 and July 29. Imagery of these thieves has been released as police continue their investigation.
On July 29, the most recent robbery involved a physical struggle between the robbers and two victims, resulting in one man being hospitalized with minor injuries.
In an earlier robbery on July 15, the assailants accosted a 55-year-old man near East 171st Street and Fulton Avenue. After displaying a firearm, they forcibly removed jewelry from him.
The pattern of robberies involved aggressive displays of firearms and occurred predominantly in the late afternoon or early evening, indicating a repeat method of operation by the criminals.
