A 21-year-old woman was assaulted in Brooklyn Heights on a Sunday morning as she walked near the Brooklyn Bridge. The assailant approached her from behind, simulating a sexual act before fleeing the scene. Despite the attack occurring around 7:50 a.m., police had not apprehended the suspect by Tuesday. The NYPD has released a photo of the attacker, who was dressed in a black winter coat, red sweatpants, and white sneakers, urging the public to assist in identifying him through their Crime Stoppers hotline or website.

He wrapped his legs around the victim's legs and put his hands over her own as he simulated a sexual act, authorities said.
The NYPD on Monday night released a photo of him wearing a black winter coat, red sweatpants and white sneakers and holding a cell phone in his hand.
