On Saturday night in East New York, a house fire resulted in two people being hospitalized with minor injuries. Emergency services acted promptly.
Around 60 fire and EMS personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire on New Jersey Avenue, successfully bringing the situation under control in about an hour.
The Red Cross is providing assistance to those affected by the fire, offering temporary housing for six individuals, which includes a child.
