Lawrence Henderson, 35, was arrested after driving from the San Francisco Bay area to Orange County, attempting to recruit an undercover officer into prostitution.
During undercover social media exchanges, Henderson allegedly tried to convince an officer posing as a woman to work for him as a prostitute.
Henderson was carrying a loaded firearm with a high-capacity magazine at the time of his arrest by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force.
The charges against Henderson included pandering, attempted pimping, and several firearm-related offenses, with bail set at $500,000.
