In Lviv, Ukraine, the KM Home is a thoughtfully designed apartment of over 1,000 square feet, created by designer Karina Mayer and architect Danylo Koshulynskyy. They transformed a traditional layout into a more functional space, introducing two spacious bedrooms, dual dressing rooms, and eliminating corridors to enhance natural flow. Art plays a profound role in the home's atmosphere, featuring striking pieces from local artists. The elegant open-plan living and kitchen spaces encourage both relaxation and social interactions, showcasing their commitment to optimizing space while celebrating modern design aesthetics.
In our design process, we aimed for a layout that promotes comfort and interaction, steering clear of unnecessary corridors and maximizing the use of every space.
Art is not just decoration here, it's fundamental to the atmosphere we've created. Each piece speaks to our heritage and personal taste, enhancing our living experience.
