These Eames lamps sat in the archive for 75 years. Now you can finally buy them
Briefly

The Galaxy lamp, originally a 1949 prototype, is available for purchase for $4,040, representing a significant revival of Charles and Ray Eames' lighting design legacy.
The Eames Office, along with Cassina and Form portfolios, developed both the Galaxy and Helena lamps, marking the first time Eames lighting has been mass-produced.
Eames Demetrios, grandson of the Eames couple, described the introduction of the Galaxy and Helena lamps as a "golden opportunity" to narrate another thread of Eames history.
Originally shelved due to other projects, the Galaxy lamp now features a new design with a bursting sphere and 36 stems, showcasing Eames innovation.
