The Tide's Echo Hall in Rongcheng, China, designed by Trace Architecture Office, serves as a vibrant public space that harmonizes the contrasting elements of the ocean and surrounding forests. Nestled within Coastal Park, this architectural marvel acts as a link between human activities and the natural world. The building responds to its ecological setting with three distinct zones that cater to various functions while maintaining fluid connections with nature, allowing visitors to experience the serene calm of the nearby forest and the expansive views of the sea.
At the heart of the project, the Tide's Echo Hall is designed to act as a vibrant public forum, bridging the natural elements of forest and ocean.
With its design responding to the ecological duality of a black pine grove and the openness of the sea, the hall is a cohesive architectural composition.
