Sproud secured SEK 20 million (€1.8 million) from existing investors including Findeln Holding, Dream Beverage Group, VGC Partners and Lantmännen BioRefineries, bringing registered capital above €21 million. Founded in 2018, Sproud produces a pea-based milk alternative with a lower carbon footprint than dairy and almond milks and positions itself as allergen-friendly and clean-label. The company is prioritizing European expansion to meet rising demand for plant-based and transparent ingredient profiles. Sproud achieved B Corp certification with a score of 109.4, signaling a formal commitment to environmental and social impact. The current pre-money valuation is €16.5 million, below the 2022 peak of €22.5 million.
