Man arrested after police chase ends in crash in Catford

Following a police pursuit, a man was arrested in Catford after crashing into the central reservation of the A21 Bromley Road. The chase began when the driver failed to stop for officers on Widmore Road. After the crash occurred around 10:20 AM on February 17, the driver faced several charges including failing to stop, driving without insurance, and having no driving license. Fortunately, the London Ambulance Service was not needed as the individuals involved sought medical help on their own.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of five offences following a police chase that ended in a crash in Catford.
At around 10:20hrs on Monday, 17 February a car failed to stop for police in Widmore Road.
The male driver was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, taking and driving away, dangerous driving, no insurance and no driving licence.
It is understood that the London Ambulance Service cancelled its response after being informed that a patient made their own way to hospital.
