Toklas Bakery, founded by Matthew Slotover and Amanda Sharp, is renowned for its exquisite pastries and breads. A special masterclass focuses on the popular cardamom buns, led by Head Baker Ellie Chisholm. Taking place on June 13th, attendees will get hands-on experience making the buns, learning about the bakery's baking techniques, and participating in a tasting that includes various breads and cheeses from Neal's Yard. The class promises a delightful culinary experience with the chance to take home freshly baked buns.
On Fri 13th June, Head Baker Ellie Chisholm will take you through the ingredients used in the buns and the process of laminating the dough.
Once your buns come out of the oven, you'll dip them in vanilla syrup and then they're ready to take home - though we reckon they won't be sticking around for too long.
