Disturbed unleash new song "I Will Not Break"
Briefly

Disturbed has released their new song "I Will Not Break," signifying a new chapter for the band as it’s their first offering under their label, Mother Culture Records. Lyrically, lead singer David Draiman confronts his battle with suicidal thoughts, candidly expressing his vulnerabilities. At a recent concert, Draiman shared his pain regarding lost friends and his personal struggles with addiction and depression. This release comes shortly before their 25th-anniversary North American tour for their iconic debut album The Sickness, alongside a deluxe edition set to drop soon.
Lyrically, singer David Draiman delves into deeply personal territory, referencing the suicidal thoughts he experienced a couple years ago: "Why am I acting like an animal/ What the hell happened to me/ I've had enough of feeling terrified...".
During a concert in 2023, Draiman told the audience, "I miss the friends that we've lost. I miss Chester [Bennington], I miss Scott [Weiland], I miss Chris [Cornell]. And if I can be completely honest with you, a couple months ago, I almost joined them. Addiction and depression can happen to anyone...".
The new song comes just days before Disturbed kick off their North American tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album The Sickness. The 34-date outing kicks off this coming Tuesday (February 25th)...
