The White Sox (49-88) open a seven-game road trip after concluding a 10-game homestand with a 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees on Sunday. The victory ended a five-game losing streak and was only Chicago's seventh in the past 26 games. The White Sox improved to 16-49 in games decided by one or two runs. He is expected to be sidelined two weeks. CF Luis Robert Jr. (left hamstring soreness) was placed on the IL on Aug. 27 and could miss the rest of the season.
