IAB Europe has officially launched its Retail Media Certification Programme aimed at establishing transparency, consistency, and accountability in Retail Media measurement across Europe. The certification programme follows a successful pilot phase and is set to include leading retailers like Nectar360 and Albert Heijn, who are almost compliant. The initiative also includes a new beta phase for Ad Tech participants. This certification is designed to validate measurement practices to boost confidence among advertisers in the retail media networks they utilize, which have lacked standardization in the past.
